Update: LG posts another video teaser ad for the upcoming LG Q6 smartphone with full vision display. Check it out below:
Confirming past reports, a new video teaser from LG hints at July 11th as the launch date of LG Q6, the toned down variant of flagship phone LG G6. LG has released a video teaser which says that the company will be releasing a new device tomorrow.
However, keeping the suspense intact, the Korean giant does not reveal the name of the smartphone to be launched. This teaser follows the press invite sent out by LG with hashtag #LGBarbeQ for an event to be held in Poland on July 11th which when inferred comes to the launch of LG Q6.
LG Q6, which was earlier known as LG G6 mini, is touted to sport a 5.4 inch QHD display supporting an aspect ratio of 18:9. Other internal hardware features have also been watered down in LG Q6. At its heart, the smartphone will carry octa-core Snapdragon 430 chipset clocked at 1.4 GHz paired with 3GB RAM.

LG will be shipping the phone with Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS. Unlike its premium sibling G6 which comes with dual rear cameras, the Q6 will house a single 13MP camera on the back.
Notably, LG has continued its trend of launching a mini version of its flagship phone this year as well with LG Q6. Last year, LG released a toned-down version of LG G5, which was known as LG G5 SE.
