LG G6 launched in Malaysia, priced RM 3899

Even as all eyes are turned towards the west to witness the release of LG’s flagship smartphone G6 in Canada and US on April 7th, the Korean giant has surprised us all by releasing the premium smartphone in Malaysia. The phone has not only made its way into the country, it is even up for grabs and ready to be shipped.

LG G6 can be purchased via DirectD online store at a cost of RM 3899. It is available in three color options- Astro Black, Ice Platinum and Mystic White and being shipped with one-year warranty by DirectD.

The G6 packs in solid internal hardware with top of the end design. Flaunting a 5.7-inch QHD+ FullVision Display (2880 x 1440 pixels) coupled with an amazing aspect ratio of 18:9, the LG G6 is bound to make heads turn. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 Processor paired with 4GB. It comes in two storage options- 32GB and 64GB.

Undoubtedly, the OS on board the G6 is Android 7.0 Nougat. To keep all these high-end specs powered, there’s a 3,300mAh battery. Additional features include fingerprint scanner, Google Assistant, IP 68 rating.

After making its debut at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona last month, the LG G6 was released in Korea on March 11th. The phone will be released in Australia by the end of this month itself while in US and Canada it will be launched on April 7th. It is already up for pre-order on AT&T and Verizon.
