Huawei may soon launch a new bezel-less slider smartphone like the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 and Honor Magic 2, a new patent suggests.
Renders has it that it has extremely thin side bezels extending to the top of the display. However, chances of it being a high-end device are low as the phone has a bit thicker chin at its bottom.
The design makes room for the absence of two front cameras while having a LED flash. The same arrangement is in the rear too. However, speculations in the tech grapevines suggest that in case this becomes a real product, Huawei will remove the dual camera and place a more advanced triple camera.
There is no fingerprint-scanner but it could have an in-display optical sensor. Embedding the scanner within the power button on the side could also be an option.
The phone may be part of the Huawei P Smart or Huawei Y lineups if the phone is really produced by Huawei. However, there is no solid guarantee of Huawei moving ahead in the project yet. If the firm does so, it will be the much-awaited mid-range slider smartphone.
It is notable that Huawei P30 & P30 Pro, and P30 Lite have already leaked in the media, but they do not have a slider mechanism.
