Huawei’s current flagships, the P20 and P20 Pro, as well as the Honor 10,  are getting a new Android 9 Pie beta B110 update in China.

Information is scarce about any new features, but Huawei says you need to have software version 9.0.0.106 installed on board of your device, otherwise you won’t get this update. After the installation, the software version on your phone will be 9.0.0.110. The company notes that eligible phones should not have root.

You should also keep in mind that while the new update shouldn’t not clear the user’s data, it’s still recommended that you back up all important data before installing the new build on your device.

Like it’s the case with any update, you should also make sure you’re connected to a stable Wi-Fi connection before starting the download and that your phone’s battery is charged up.
