The Huawei Mate 9 will be making an entrance into the UK soon with the regional carrier 3 confirming the same on Twitter. 3UK confirmed the release today via Twitter, revealing that the Mate 9 would launch on Friday, January 13.
The Mate 9 has turned out to be a huge success for the Chinese OEM, who is no.1 in China and no. 3 in the world in terms of top smartphone makers. The Mate 9 holds its own in performance with the likes of the top competitors (Galaxy S7!) and its unique design aesthetic also contributes to the whole grandeur that is the Mate 9.
There is no indication whether the Porsche Edition Mate 9 would make it to UK, Europe, but as things stand, we think it’s highly unlikely.
Aside from making a performance beast, Huawei has done humanity good by shipping the device with Android 7.0 Nougat on board. Guess you could say that Huawei now knows what it takes to make an Android lover tick, after having worked on the Nexus 6P.
Here’s the tweet from 3UK confirming Mate 9 release in UK for January 13.
We will indeed! It's launching this Friday.
