Huawei Mate 10 gets leaked in 360-degree renders

Huawei is all set to launch its Mate 10 smartphone on October 16th. If you have been following the news lately, then you probably already know a thing or two about it. But in case you missed everything, we now have a new report which shows us what the smartphone could look like.

This new report shows some 3D renders based on CAD drawings. Do make a note that these are just renders and not the final design confirmation and hence we suggest you take this with a pinch of salt. Besides, the actual smartphone could end up looking way better than the renders. So these images are just to give you an idea of what the smartphone may look like.

Taking a look at the image, one noticeable element here is the placement of the fingerprint scanner. Huawei didn’t use the fingerprint sensor on the front for the Mate 9, but it sure did with the Mate 9 Pro, and it seems that all variants of the Mate 10 would sport the fingerprint sensor on the front. That said, it looks like the Mate 10 will not sport a bezel-less display like most of the competitions do.

As you can see from the renders, the display runs edge-to-edge, however, the top, as well as the bottom bezels, remain the same. On the other hand, it has been reported that despite the lack of a bezel-less display, the Mate 10 will carry an aspect ratio of 18:9, and the size of the display is speculated to be of 5.9-inches.

Another noticeable element is the use of Glass at the back. With the Mate 10, it looks like Huawei is making a switch from metal-unibody to the glass back. The leaks also suggest that the Mate 10 will measure 150.2 x 77.5 mm in size and 8.4 mm in thickness. Well, if you found this leak interesting, then we suggest you take a look at the teaser video of the Mate 10 which the company shared.
