Huawei’s next mid-range flagship in Honor 9 is rumored for launch on June 27 in Berlin, that we know, but we didn’t have a good look at its specs till date. That changes today. Thanks to TENAA listing of the Honor 9 — where as many as three variants (STF-AL00, STF-TL10 and STF-AL10) appeared today — we know have a fair idea of its specsheet.

The Honor 9 would feature a 5.15-inch TFT(?) display featuring Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, and an octa-core processor clocked at 2.4GHz, which should be one from Huawei’s own Kirin processor lineup. There may be 128GB storage in the plans too, but TENAA doesn’t have any info on that. Sure, you can add a microSD card (upto 128GB) to expand the storage.

Huawei had installed a beautiful dual camera in Honor 8, so it was kind-of always a given that Honor 9 would feature a dual cam too, and now it’s been verified at TENAA too. A 20MP+12MP dual camera assisted by a single LED flash is what that will take care of the imaging challenges you throw at Honor 9, while for the selfie needs, a decent 8MP sits on the front. Ah, so those rumors about the selfie dual camera weren’t true after all.

The TENAA listing has the OS listed as Android 7.0 (Nougat), which is good, but we thought Huawei would be able to get us Android 7.1.1 pre-installed on Honor 9 — given they already have an Android O build for Mate 9 in the works as per rumors, and their 7.1.1 update is long due for the current gen of devices.

Honor 9 battery size is revealed to be 3100mAh, which seems just about fine.

The Honor 9 could be weighing in at about 155 grans, while its measurements are 147.3 x 70.9 x 7.45mm, which is mostly similar to Honor 8’s 145.5 x 71 x 7.5 mm parameters, but a bit slimmer and longer, which is fine. Its slimmer profile is something we were able to notice from the leak earlier, too.

So, far only one color, gold, has been mentioned for the Honor 9, but we do expect Huawei to mesmerize us once again with solid color choices, as it did with the Honor 8’s blue color.

The Honor 9 price is expected to be around 3000 Yuan, which is about $436 — a perfect match for its specs listed above, and the mid-range flagship status it would hold.

Here are the images revealed today of the Honor 9 in Gold color.
