We have already seen leaked pictures of the upcoming Honor 9 smartphone from Huawei. And we also know most of its specs, which include a dual-camera setup. Now, thanks to a new rumor, we might also know the price.
According to a post on Weibo, the top variant of the Huawei Honor 9 will cost around 2,999 Yuan. That’s about $435, which isn’t a lot when you consider the specs of this device. A recent leak also told us that Huawei could announce the device on June 27th.
Although nothing is concrete, the rumors suggest that the Honor 9 would come with a 5.2-inch full HD display, a Kirin 960 processor, 4 or 6GB of RAM, and a dual-camera setup at the back. There’s still more than a month to go till the smartphone is released, so we’ll only the actual specs then.
The Honor series from Huawei are supposed to be well priced, and feature high-end specs at the same time. The Kirin 960 is a very good chipset, although not as good as the SD835, but still pretty powerful. The main selling point will most likely be the price, and 2,999 Yuan isn’t bad for a top of the line Honor 9 smartphone.
