Huawei Honor 5C Nougat update with VoLTE support now rolling out

In a new blog post, Huawei announced that the Android Nougat update for the Honor 5C is currently rolling out to users. This isn’t the beta, it is the final version and it is available as an OTA update with EMUI 5.0.

According to the post, the update is being released to users of the Honor 5C in batches. This means that it could take a few days or even a week for everyone to get the update. Huawei had started the Nougat beta program for Honor 5C in several regions in January this year.

Now, the update is finally being delivered to the awaiting users. The update also adds VoLTE support for the Honor 5C. The company had promised to start the updates in April, and it has stood by it.

If you have received the Nougat update on your Honor 5C, make sure you download it over Wi-Fi. It is also recommended to have more than 50 percent charge on your device before installing it.
