Yesterday we revealed information about the upcoming Huawei Terra fitness tracker, which will apparently go live on October 16 during the Mate 20 event.

Well, it seems that the Chinese company has another fitness wearable in the pipeline. According to the reliable tipster, Roland Quandt, the wrist-bound device will be called the Huawei Band 3e.

Huawei Band 3e specs

It appears the upcoming tracker is going to be an updated version of the Huawei Band 2 coming with a six-axis accelerometer and 5ATM waterproofing. This means you’ll be able to submerge the device in up to 50 meters of water. According to the leak, the Band 3e will be able to track all kinds of fitness data including steps, calories and sleep cycles, as well as collect 7 types of running data.

The Huawei Band 2 successor is said to be relying on a 77mAh battery, which will supposedly give it a battery life of 21 days on standby mode or 12 days with regular use.

Apparently, the wearable will feature some sort of “shoe mode” with posture tracking which will decrease battery life to 40 hours. We’re not exactly clear what this “shoe mode” entails at the moment.
