Huawei announced EMUI 9.0 based on Android 9 Pie at the IFA 2018 and has since provided the beta version of this software to nine of its devices. However, only those using the eligible devices from China and Europe have been thus far able to download and install this software.

Now, beginning October 16th, Huawei will begin rolling out EMUI 9.0 beta based on Android 9 Pie to users of the Mate 10, Mate 10 Pro and P20 Pro in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Kuwait. This is according to a statement by Huawei Arabia, which also mentions recruitment into the beta testing program is ongoing, but make sure you grab a spot before October 20th, which is when registration will be closed.
