According to a tipster, the much rumored HTC U, aka Ocean, will come in a dual-SIM variant as well. Twitter user LlabTooFeR posted a few details regarding the upcoming flagship smartphone.Â
The HTC U will have a dual-SIM variant, and also be IP57 water and dust resistant. The tipster also stated that the phone will not have a headphone port, similar to the HTC U Ultra. So far, we have seen and learnt quite a few things about this device. The HTC U is pegged to be the only high-end flagship smartphone to be released by the company this year.
Recently, Evan Blass, another tipster, posted live images of the device on the internet. As seen at the beginning, this is the first look at the rumored device in the real. We have seen renders, and these look very close to them.
The specs of the smartphone are pretty great, and include the Snapdragon 835 chipset, upto 6GB of RAM, a 12MP ultrapixel rear camera, and a 16MP front shooter. However, the most awesome feature of the device would be the pressure sensing side bezels.

that will be great for Indian users since we use more than one sim on daily basis!!
Also, after Google and Samsung, this will also be having a voice assistant, called Sense Companion. Looks like, the trend these days.
It seems every manufacturer is bringing in an AI for their phones even the new ones’ Like the Sharp aquos R
Yeah, but they all have more or less, the same features, give or take a few. So, I was not that excited about the Assistant hype. (The Moto X gen 2, had me hyped back then :D).
Pressure sensitive side bezels?! Woww. Good to see HTC experimenting. It has been really long since HTC has played bold. And the specs look great too. Honestly, HTC U Ultra was a disappointment. Maybe the U will make up for it. And always, glad to see the water resistance.
Another headphones jackless device, I prefer a jack. 6GB ram SD 835 looks like a beast. I have always assumed people who have duel sim card have duel girlfriends.
In India dual sim is the standard these days with Jio out everyone uses two sims XD
And releasing a single sim variant in India would just be a bad idea
