HTC One M9 users in Asia have reported receiving a new firmware update. The update brings the taste of Android 7.0 Nougat and is rolling out over the air.
Arriving as software version 4.23.425.1, the update also brings system enhancements and Google’s latest android security update, other than the Nougat update. The update weighs 1.52GB.

HTC started rolling out Nougat update to One M9 units last year in December to unlocked variants followed by the release of the new software update to locked variants one month later.
As the update is being rolled out over the air, it may take a while to reach your One M9 units if you are in Asia. If waiting is not your thing, you may want to check for it right away which you can do by heading to Settings > About device > System updates. However, before hitting the download button, ensure that your phone is at least 50 percent charged and connected to a WiFi network.
