The HTC 10 Evo, or the international variant of the HTC Bolt, that was announced only recently by HTC as Sprint exclusive in USA, is expected to be made available in China come November 22. People outside of USA have been waiting for the opportunity to get the hands on the phone, and outside USA, Chinese could be the first ones to do so.
That also means the Indian release date isn’t far either as the device makes its entry in Asia.
It has also been confirmed that the HTC 10 Evo will feature a 5.5 inch QHD display powered by the Snapdragon 810 processor, coupled with 3GB of RAM. The phone packs a decent 3200mAh battery and also houses a 16MP shooter at back while 8MP front facing camera.
USB Type-C support has also made its way into the HTC 10 Evo and the device is now IP57 certified water-resistant. That gives it dust protection, and it can also survive 1m of immersion in water.
The HTC Bolt shipped with Android Nougat 7.0 right out of the box, and the HTC 10 Evo will do the same too. Owners of the flagship HTC 10 can soon expect the Nougat update to hit their phones, by the end of November, if not, then December at the most. Screenshots of the HTC 10 running Nougat have leaked too.
In competition news for the HTC 10 Evo, at its price range, the Galaxy C5 Pro and C7 Pro are expected to release around December this year. The Galaxy A series will also see an upgrade to the A7 in 2017. Specifications of 2017 Galaxy A7 have been leaked and they promise a better experience in performance.
