It hasn’t been more than a week yet since Moto G 2015 was officially announced by Motorola at an event in India, and a working TWRP recovery build developed by squid2 for the device is already available for download.
Also, to root Moto G 2015 all you need is a custom recovery like TWRP. You can then simply flash the SuperSU zip via the recovery and that’ll root your 3rd Gen Moto G.
For installing the TWRP recovery though, you’ll need to unlock the bootloader on your Moto G 2015 first, which will wipe the device clean so make sure you backup any important files, photos, music, etc. before install TWRP recovery and root your device.

- Download the TWRP recovery .img and SuperSU .zip files, and transfer the SuperSU file to your device while keeping the TWRP .img file on PC.
