October 12, 2021: A big update! Please note that you no longer need to replace the appraiserres.dll file in order to bypass the TPM check and fix the installation error when installing Windows 11. You can simply delete the appraiserres.dll file and then run the setup file.
If you are finding yourself at the receiving end of a rather unkind error called “This PC can’t run Windows 11”, then well, do not worry. This doesn’t mean your PC can’t really run Windows 11 or that it doesn’t fail the Windows 11 compatibility test or system requirements. Whether you were trying to install Windows 11 in a virtual environment using VirtualBox or not, the two solutions given below will fix the problems causing the error. One of the solutions is to replace the appraiserres.dll on your Windows 11 setup folder while the other is to try a different setting in VirtualBox.

After deleting the apperasierr.dll , windows still not installed.
no need to replace it.
just delete that appraiserres.dll and turn off your internet and install it will work 100% percent.
but will it not harm your pc if u delete a dll file ?
Stick to Win10.
Didn’t work for me since editing the iso (ultraISO) seems to have broken something… I’m going to skip it. But yeah, I completely agree here. Win11 is full of telemetry vulnerabilities. I actually wanted to install it to a VM for testing purposes, however it’s not going to work out (Virtualbox hosted by FreeBSD). If anything, I’ll just install Win10 in the VM instead..
Forewarning: Win11 is said to require front facing cameras on laptops in 2023 (might be defeated with a tweak), however there is the prospect of “Amber Alerts” appearing somewhere down the line. It’s only speculation at this point in time, but I guarantee you that it’s looking to be going that direction since all CPUs have AMT built in. This suggests a 3rd party (govt) connection to your PC that would push such alerts… yuck!
PS – Amber alert app already exists in the MS store, yes, but a built in framework is what I’m hinting at.

Yes, it will burst into flames.
Thank you so much, deleting that .dll is the definitive and simplest solution, the only catch is that you need to keep in mind that you need to disable get installer updates and keep the installer running while you delete that file, otherwise the installer will extract that file again.
hey, I am not able to replace the DLL file. so what can I do? can u guys help me out…..
Download The official ISO file for windows 11. Extract all the content to anywhere on your PC. Delete the appraiserres.dll. Then turn your internet connection off. This is important!
Just click on the setup.exe to start upgrade. Please note windows 11 takes twice as long to install than windows 10 so don’t worry if it stays on the please wait screen for a long time.
Don’t forget to turn your internet connection off!
