How to Place Alfred’s Carrier on the Mattress in Control Resonant

Pick up Alfred’s pet carrier during Into the Valley of Death, a side quest. You’ve already passed Talk to Langston at the Field Office and Get the Key to Langston’s Apartment when the central quest-update banner displays Find a Bedroom for the Carrier. You’re exploring the Evacuation Zone within the Sinkhole when you collect it; Evacuation Zone also labels your location beneath the objective. The map menu says No map available. Carry it through the living room doorway into the rear bedroom.

How to place Alfred’s carrier in the bedroom

Cross the suspended rooms

Leap between the fragmented apartment rooms while carrying Alfred’s carrier.

Climb into the upper apartment

Continue upward with the carrier still in hand.

Enter the opposite living area

Jump down into the living area on the other side.

Find the rear bedroom

Go through the living room doorway into the room with a bed, bookshelves, rug and band posters. The Children of Moala poster is beside the bookshelf and the AHMA poster is above the bed.

Place the carrier on the mattress

Approach the bed and set the carrier directly on the mattress.

Placing the carrier there completes Find a Bedroom for the Carrier and changes the objective to Lure Alfred Inside the Carrier. Music is still needed; Alfred responds to music.
