To get the Dog Ending, collect and donate the Bronze, Silver, and Gold Coins in New Game+, then reach the confrontation after the final boss.
Choose New Game+ from the main menu. For Silent Hill: Townfall’s donations, put the Bronze Coin into the Guide Dogs charity statue, then donate the Silver Coin to the second Guide Dogs statue. During the final escape sequence, place the Gold Coin in the third Guide Dogs charity collection statue; its intervention starts the secret Dog Ending cutscene. Keep the donations in the same run. Missing one blocks the ending, and there’s no chapter select or backtracking, so you’ll need to load an earlier manual save or start another run.
Start New Game+ and donate the Bronze Coin
The first coin appears in Part 1: Arrival, Chapter 1: Cold Open, in Shorefront District – South. The opening stop is Video Star.

Access to the laundromat comes during Chapter 10: Missing Parts. The 5 South Brae chain leads to the Bolt Cutters in Locker 17, which open the gate behind the Post Office. The donation bank is inside the laundromat.

Open Room 793 and make the Gold Coin donation
The final coin is in Part 6: Simon, Chapter 15: Trying Again, during Remote Systems Control in SWDP – Different. This stretch includes an electronic-console sequence completed by flipping switches. The control-room panel that opens the door toward the valve also provides access to Room 793.
Before leaving the control room for the downstairs section, Room 793’s command is Open Door: the second button in the fourth row, followed by the third button in the first row, then 793. That room number appears above the Regulator Room door on the camera feeds.

During the final escape sequence, deposit the Gold Coin into the third Guide Dogs statue at the end of the red-lit passage, directly in front of a doorway.
Room 793 is in the lower section, with the coin resting on a console. The passage to the final bank becomes accessible after completing the SWDP objectives and releasing the container; at the four-way junction, the straight-ahead hallway with red lights leads to the statue.

The nearby Strange Access Card reader triggers the separate Sci-fi ending before the final boss. For the Dog Ending, leave that reader unused and continue through the finale.
Recognize the Dog Ending on the foggy pier
You still have the final boss to fight before the confrontation on the foggy pier. Donations don’t end the game early. With all three coins donated, though, you get the Dog Ending in place of the standard closing outcome and earn Let’s Talk This Out.
One man raises a flare gun at the other, but the talking Guide Dog statue steps into the confrontation. It scolds both men: their fighting has dragged on too long. That intervention sends you into the secret Dog Ending cutscene.
Both men follow as the statue hops down a foggy street, taking the scene to an outdoor table where it sets out beer bottles. Time to talk it out. The statue tells them to discuss their disagreement, and they respond by clinking their bottles together. Once they’ve talked, it tells them to be quiet; both men lean back in their chairs and start laughing together beside the dog statue.

Audience laughter and applause accompany the outdoor drinks scene, then the credits roll. You leave them sharing a laugh.
