About two weeks ago, Honor India sent out invitations for users of the Honor Play, Honor 10 and Honor V10 who wished to join the company’s Android 9 Pie beta program and just a few days ago, the first official EMUI 9 beta started rolling out to these devices in the Asian sub-continent. However, this was limited to 30 select users of the three handsets.
Well, this limitation is no more as the company, through the official Honor India forums, notes that anyone who owns any of the Honor Play, Honor 10 or Honor V10 can now submit their interest by filling a registration form that will grant them access to the new EMUI 9.0 beta based on Android 9 Pie.

While this should definitely be great news for owners of these devices in India, other markets in Europe and back at home, China, have been enjoying Huawei Pie update for several weeks now. However, it’s worth noting that Huawei recently announced an Indian-centric version of EMUI, meaning it may still need more time to implement the tweaks specific to this market.

Granted, it’s likely that the stable Pie update may arrive on the Honor Play, Honor 10 and Honor V10 towards the end of the year.
