How to unlock every story trophy
Every campaign mission awards a trophy upon completion. The first ten correspond to the classic Halo campaign, while the remake introduces three additional missions—Boarding Action, The Most Dangerous Game, and Heavy Burden—each with its own completion trophy. Simply finishing each mission on any difficulty is enough to earn these trophies.
How to earn all collectible trophies
Collectibles are divided into 39 Skulls and 13 Terminals spread across all thirteen missions. Every mission also has an individual trophy for finding all collectibles within that level.
You will first unlock Cranial after collecting your first Skull. Reaching 22 Skulls awards Making a Necklace, while collecting every Skull unlocks Headhunter. After activating every Terminal and finding every Skull, you’ll receive Collector’s Addition, one of the two Gold trophies.
How to unlock the hardest Skull challenge trophies
Several of the toughest trophies revolve around enabling Skulls that dramatically change gameplay.
Hot Streak requires completing a mission with the Floor Is Lava Skull active while never jumping or dying. Frugal Fire combines three ammunition-restricting Skulls, making careful weapon management essential.
Like Old Times is another major challenge, asking players to finish Two Betrayals with four specific Skulls active simultaneously.
The ultimate challenge is MYTHIC, awarded for completing the entire campaign on Legendary All Skulls On (LASO). Every gameplay modifier is enabled, enemies become far deadlier, resources are scarce, and checkpoints are heavily restricted. It is widely expected to be the rarest trophy in the game.

By collecting everything during your initial playthrough, you’ll eliminate the need to replay every mission later solely for collectibles. Save the miscellaneous challenge trophies until you’re comfortable with the updated mechanics, and leave the LASO run for last after learning enemy encounters and efficient routes.
