Striped Scorpion Pincers and Striped Scorpion Stingers drop from Striped Bark Scorpions found in the Gnarly Bark area west of Skunk Pond, near the base of the large tree by the yellow excavator.
Striped Scorpion Pincer and Striped Scorpion Stinger are farmed from the same enemy, so this is one route with one fight. Once you know the Gnarly Bark map label and the excavator landmark, the material hunt is mostly about bringing the right damage type and surviving the venom.
Where the Striped Scorpion drops come from
| Item |
|---|
| Striped Scorpion Pincer |
| Striped Scorpion Stinger |
Key Kill a Striped Bark Scorpion to get both requested materials. You do not need two different creatures or two separate searches for the Pincer and Stinger.
The same creature can also drop Striped Scorpion Chunk and Scorpion Venom; one kill at this spawn awarded +3 Striped Scorpion Chunk and +2 Scorpion Venom alongside the requested parts.
Striped Bark Scorpion location in Gnarly Bark

When the machine is in view, search directly under and around the tree beside it. This route targets that specific spawn, not every possible Striped Bark Scorpion location across Grounded 2.
Anchor on the yellow excavator; once you see it, stop sweeping the whole biome and check the base of the neighboring tree.
How to farm Striped Scorpion Pincers and Stingers in Grounded 2
Use the map landmark first, then scan and kill the Striped Bark Scorpion at the tree spawn.
STEP 1/5
Open the map at Gnarly Bark

Look for Gnarly Bark on the west side of Skunk Pond, then focus on the left side of that named area.
STEP 2/5
Find the yellow excavator

Head for the visible machine near the large tree, since the Striped Bark Scorpion is found directly under or beside that tree.
STEP 3/5
Peep the Striped Bark Scorpion

Scan Striped Bark Scorpion before engaging so its weakness, resistances, and weak points are saved to your creature card.
STEP 4/5
Kill it with Smashing damage

Use a club or another Smashing weapon and keep moving away from venom attacks.
STEP 5/5
Loot the scorpion parts

Harvest the defeated scorpion for Striped Scorpion Pincer, Striped Scorpion Stinger, Striped Scorpion Chunk, and Scorpion Venom.

Striped Bark Scorpion weakness and weak points
| Trait | Details |
|---|---|
| Weakness | Smashing |
| Resistances | Fresh, Slashing, Venom |
| Weak points | Rump, Stinger |
Build the fight around Smashing damage. A club is the clean recommendation, though any weapon that gives you reliable Smashing damage can work if your gear is strong enough.
The Striped Bark Scorpion uses normal scorpion-style attacks, so give yourself room to dodge instead of face-tanking venom. Aim for the weak points when the angle opens, then reset before the next attack chain.
Northern Scorpions are a different farm
Northern Scorpion routes are for Northern Scorpion Pincer, Northern Scorpion Stinger, Northern Scorpion Chunk, and sometimes Scorpion Venom. Those older scorpion materials are not the same as Striped Scorpion Pincer and Striped Scorpion Stinger.
For these Striped materials after the Into the Abyss update, target the Striped Bark Scorpion in Gnarly Bark, not a regular Northern Scorpion route in another region.
