Win the battle at the fortified gate north of Crossroads to clear the zombies, enter Jack’s Workshop, and bring Jack the good news.
Jack’s Back in Business is a quest in Graveyard Keeper 2 centered on the zombies keeping Jack from his workshop. He wants to restore it, but first you need to clear the battle that opens the way back.
Jack is staying at the Town Warehouse during the quest. He spends much of his time inside, so you can speak with him there. Winning the battle returns him to his workshop and opens the area for restoration. This guide covers Barracks preparation, finding the battle north of Crossroads, and reporting back to Jack.

Prepare at the Barracks, clear the northern gate battle, and return to Jack.

2 – Find and complete the plaza battle
Follow the battle marker to the soldiers north of Crossroads.

Open the map and look for the shield icon on the northern road. It marks the encounter referred to as the plaza battle. The battle is outside the Town harbor and Town Warehouse; Jack’s Workshop is not in the harbor area.

Travel to Crossroads and follow the path north to the fortified gate, where soldiers are stationed.

Speak to the soldiers at the gate to begin the encounter, then defeat the enemies blocking access to the workshop area.
3 – Enter the reopened workshop area
The cleared gate leads to Jack’s Workshop.
