It’s worth mentioning the new upgrade by Google, where Google Search, Google Assistant, and Google Maps now allow users to order food delivery from some of the biggest food delivery services available. It is an intriguing approach as it reduces the hassle to download and install various food ordering apps in order to find one’s favorite restaurant or cuisine.
Google says that DoorDash, Postmates, Delivery.com, Slice, and ChowNow are supported with others like Zuppler expected to join the list later.
Here, the user can simply begin with the search of the restaurant of his/her preference. If the particular restaurant is participating in the program, then an “order online” button will show along with search results. This is also true if using Google Maps to search the said restaurant.
Users can choose items, view delivery or pick up options along with checking out. Restaurants with multiple delivery services are also shown. Just so you know, the feature ONLY works for the participating restaurants.
