Android 8.0 Oreo is out now. And among many other things it brings with it, rounded emojis (which have been there on iOS for a long time now) is one.

Now, as you all know, the chances of your device getting an upgrade to Oreo are quite low (or at least, you’ll have to wait long until Q1/Q2 2018) unless it’s a flagship device or is a mid-range handset which has been launched recently.

So, if you think you can’t wait until then, here’s how you can get the new emojis onto your phone right now. All you have to do is download the Substratum Theme, which will replace the standard WhatsApp emojis with the Oreo’s Emoji pack.
