QUICK ANSWER
Arrange Prime Ice Cubes to redirect Jack Frost and Launchpads to carry them across gaps or between levels, then start the Action Phase and operate any moving platforms when Jack Frost is in position.

The “Help the Jack Frost reach its destination” objective repeats across at least six Maze of Frost and Foresight layouts, but each stage requires a different Construct arrangement. Match your current stage to the placements below before starting the run.

How the Construction and Action phases work

Maze of Frost and Foresight is part of the Great Expeditionist Challenge. During the Construction Phase, you can place Prime Ice Constructs only in the pre-designated slots. Starting the Action Phase sends Jack Frost along the route, and the stage clears when Jack Frost reaches the destination marker.

Prime Ice Cubes act as solid walls that redirect Jack Frost after a collision, while Prime Ice Launchpads bounce Jack Frost across gaps or onto higher levels. Layouts containing elevators or moving platforms also require interaction during the run so Jack Frost—or a Construct guiding the route—moves onto the correct level or track.

Maze of Frost and Foresight stage arrangements

Stage Construct arrangement
Stage 1 One Launchpad beside Jack Frost; two Launchpads in the lower slots
Stage 2 Cube on the left moving platform; Launchpad in the middle-left slot; Cubes in the middle-right and far-right static slots
Stage 3 Cube on the left moving platform; Launchpad on the middle moving platform; Cube in the right static slot
Stage 4 Cube on the left platform; Launchpads on the middle-right and far-right platforms
Stage 5 Launchpads in the left and right slots; all other slots empty
Stage 6 Cube on the lower-left platform; Cube on the upper-middle platform; Launchpad on the right platform

Pay attention to whether a slot is moving or static. Placing the correct Construct on the wrong platform changes where Jack Frost encounters it and can derail the route.

STEP 03 · OF 04

Build the static redirects

Place Cubes in the middle-right and far-right static slots.

Run the arrangement

Start the Action Phase and operate the moving platform only when Jack Frost is correctly positioned for the transfer.

Stage 3: Use both moving platforms

STEP 01 · OF 04

Build the left redirect

Put a Prime Ice Cube on the left moving platform.

Key Leave every other slot empty, then start the Action Phase; filling them can break the route.

Stage 6: Turn Jack Frost twice before launching

STEP 01 · OF 04

Place a Prime Ice Cube on the lower-left platform so Jack Frost does not walk off the route.

STEP 02 · OF 04

Build the upper redirect

Put the second Prime Ice Cube on the upper-middle platform to turn Jack Frost back toward the right.

STEP 03 · OF 04

Set the final Launchpad

Place a Prime Ice Launchpad on the right platform so the last bounce reaches the destination.

STEP 04 · OF 04

Start the Action Phase and let the two redirects feed Jack Frost into the final launch.

How to fix failed routes and moving platforms

If Jack Frost enters a loop or dead end, check for unnecessary Constructs. Overfilling the pre-designated slots changes the intended route, so remove anything that is not part of the stage arrangement.

If Jack Frost falls, make sure a Launchpad occupies the slot that crosses the gap. A Prime Ice Cube cannot serve as a bridge; it stops and redirects Jack Frost instead of carrying them forward.

For elevators and moving platforms, avoid moving one before Jack Frost is correctly positioned. An early interaction can leave Jack Frost on the wrong level or move a redirect away from the route.

QUICK WIN

After a failed run, reset the Construct arrangement, rebuild only the required slots, and restart the Action Phase.

Which Jack Frost objective this guide covers

The repeated “Help the Jack Frost reach its destination” objective covered here belongs to Maze of Frost and Foresight within the Great Expeditionist Challenge.

It is separate from the Small Jack Frost, Big Problems World Quest, the train-car Link Mechanism puzzle, the hot-spring thief encounter, and the Hide-and-Seek Jack Frosts activity. Those encounters use different objectives and cannot be solved with these stage arrangements.
