The Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge users in Canada should be delighted to know that various carriers in the country have started rolling out the Nougat update to these two devices. The carriers which are pushing the Nougat update to these two devices are Bell, Telus, Virgin and Sasktel.
The Android 7.0 Nougat is being pushed to Galaxy S7 as firmware build number G930W8VLU2BQB6 while the Galaxy S7 Edge is receiving the OS update as build number G935W8VLU2BQB6.
The Nougat updates are being provided via OTA and brings in all the goodies the new software offers. But before hitting the download button, ensure that your personal data is backed up. Also, you device needs to be at least 50 percent charged and connected to a WiFi network.

The update being OTA is rolled out gradually. As such, it might take a while before you see it popping up on your S7 or S7 Edge device. If you do not want to wait, you can manually check for it by going to Settings >> About device >> System updates.
