Galaxy S6 Edge+ Android 7.0 Nougat update rollout begins in India and Sri Lanka

After releasing the Android Nougat update for the Galaxy Note 5 in India yesterday, Samsung is now seeding the update to Galaxy S6 Edge+ users today. Users of the S6 Edge+ in India are reportedly receiving the Nougat update as of now.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+(SM-G928G) is receiving the Nougat update with build number G928GDDU3CQC7. It will also install the latest March Android security patch on your device.

The update is being seeded over the air and should be available for all users in a matter of days. If you don’t receive the notification in a few days, you can manually check for it by going to Settings > About device > System Update.

Samsung has also released the Nougat update for the Galaxy S6 Edge+ in Sri Lanka and several parts of Europe. The update is supposed to released to Canadian S6 Edge+ users on April 10. Before downloading and installing the update, make sure the device has more than 50 percent charge and is connected to a WiFi network. The update is more than 1GB in size and brings along plenty of new improvements and changes.
