The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is one device a lot of people are just anxiously waiting to get their hands on, and those living in the US and India can now order the 5.5″ Android 4.1 phablet.

Those in the US can pre-order the 16GB model from US Cellular for $299.99 on a two-year contract, while Indian customers will have to pay Rs. 5000 (~$92) in advance, with the rest payable when the device is actually available. Samsung India are also throwing in a free desktop dock worth Rs. 2399 (~$40) with every pre-booking.

A word of caution to those in India: once booked, the pre-order amount is non-refundable and you’ll have to go through with the final purchase (unless you are willing to forego the advance amount). I would suggest against pre-ordering as street prices are usually lower and you can get one from a local shop before Samsung India ships your device to you.
