Franco Kernal Manager Updater gets a new update which bumps its version number to v2.2.7 with quite a few additions to the app.
The first major addition comes in the form of full support for OnePlus X. Yes, OnePlus’s mid-range offering, the OnePlus X now supports Franco Kernal Manager Updater. It also adds a new feature to the app which allows users to change governors per-cluster.
The update also adds a new Per-App Profile where users get the access to gain control over Maximum Display Brightness. Also, handsets which didn’t have support for the app earlier get partial support now. They still have to have the Kernal support, though.
Alongside the said additions, the update also brings along a fix for the frequency bug on Per-App profiles.
So far, the Franco Kernal Manager Updater has offered support only for a small set of devices which include the Nexus series of phones: Galaxy Nexus, Nexus 4, Nexus 5, Nexus 5X, Nexus 6, Nexus 6P, Nexus 7 (2012), Nexus 7 (2013), and Nexus 10.
Apart from the Nexus lineup, the app offers support for the OnePlus One, OnePlus 2, OnePlus X, OnePlus 3, OnePlus 3T, and Google’s Pixel and Pixel XL.
