How to Complete Irokawa Quarter Mile
Step 1: Unlock Green Wristband Access

Before you can access Irokawa Quarter Mile, you must complete the “Pier Pressure” challenge to earn the Blue Wristband, which unlocks the Green Wristband. The Green Wristband is required to enter this drag meet location. Without it, the event won’t be accessible on your map.

Step 2: Choose the Right Car
You need a car that meets two strict requirements:
-
S1 class (800 RI or below)
-
Country of origin: Japan
Best Car Options:
-
2020 Nissan GT-R R35 Nismo (Black Edition) – Can complete this challenge stock without any tuning
-
2020 Toyota GR Supra – Excellent drag acceleration
-
2005 Honda NSX-R GT – Strong quarter-mile performance
-
2020 Lotus Evija Forza Edition – Use tune code 137 726 694 if you need extra power
The stock Nissan GT-R Black Edition is the easiest choice because it requires no upgrades or tuning credits.

Open your map and travel to the southern area of the Nangan Region. The drag meet is located at Irokawa Space Center. You’ll see the drag strip icon on your map once you’ve unlocked Green Wristband access. The location is marked with a drag racing symbol.

Step 4: Set Up Your Race
-
Drive to the drag strip entrance and enter a grid slot.
-
Press 6 on your keyboard (or the corresponding button on controller) to ready up.
-
Wait for the race to start.

Make sure your car is tuned to S1 800 RI exactly or below. If you’re above 800, the event won’t accept your car.
Step 5: Execute a Perfect Launch
-
When the race countdown begins, focus on the light bar.
-
Launch exactly when the light turns green – launching too early causes a red light penalty, launching too late loses valuable time.
-
Hold acceleration firmly through the entire quarter-mile.
-
Do not shift prematurely – let the car accelerate fully.
A clean launch is more important than maximum horsepower. Many players lose drag races because of poor timing on the start, not because their car is underpowered.
Step 6: Hit the Target Time
Your goal is to finish the quarter-mile in 11.000 seconds or faster. With a properly tuned S1 Japanese drag car or the stock GT-R Black Edition, you should easily beat this time. Most players achieve times between 10.5–11.0 seconds with the right setup.

Once you complete the challenge, you’ll instantly earn 1 Wheelspin and 2 Festival Playlist points.

This challenge is one of the fastest points to earn in the Winter Season Festival Playlist. Once you have the right car and unlock the wristband, you should clear it in under a minute.
