How to Fix Sprint LG G5 WiFi Calling Issue on Nougat

Facing WiFi calling issues on your Sprint LG G5 after updating to Android 7.0 Nougat? Well, you’re not alone. A few other users are also not able to make calls via WiFi after updating their Sprint G5 to Nougat.

We’re not sure if it’s a LG or Sprint’s issue, but WiFi calling can’t connect to network after installing the LS992ZV8 software version on the device.

According to user geeksmurf over at xda, the issue seems to be with people who are using an Ad blocking app/service. The user had Adguard enabled on his device and was not able to make WiFi calls on Sprint G5 after installing the Nougat update.

However, after disabling Adguard, geeksmurf was able to use WiFi calling without a flaw on his Sprint G5 running on Nougat.

If you’re facing WiFi calling issue on Nougat, we suggest you to try geeksmurf’s fix and disable the Ad blocker app on your device.

Let us know if it works.
