The Case Files are distributed throughout several major regions of Nessus. Each collectible is found near notable landmarks, making them easier to locate once you reach the correct area.

Case File 1 – Artifact’s Edge collectible location
Artifact’s Edge contains one of the easier Case Files to locate. The collectible is positioned near the area’s recognizable Vex infrastructure, making it a natural stop for players beginning their Nessus collectible run.
Pay close attention to machinery platforms and structural edges, as these are common hiding spots for collectibles in the region.
Case File 2 – The Tangle collectible location
The Tangle’s dense environment can make collectibles harder to spot than in other patrol zones. The Case File is hidden near a split tree.
Exploring around the large tree-like formations and nearby pathways should lead you to the collectible.
Case File 3 – Exodus Black collectible location
The Exodus Black region features a Case File hidden near the remains of the crashed colony ship.
The collectible blends into the environment more effectively than some others, so examining debris fields, platforms, and corners around the wreckage is recommended.
Case File 4 – Watcher’s Grave collectible location
Watcher’s Grave combines Cabal and Vex architecture, creating several possible hiding places. The Case File is located near one of the area’s prominent structures at the old location of Xur on the tree.
Case File 5 – The Hallows collectible location
The Hallows contains numerous tunnels and interconnected pathways that provide ideal hiding spots for collectibles.

Case File 6 – Glade of Echoes collectible location
The Glade of Echoes collectible is hidden among the area’s Vex ruins and rocky terrain. This region is slightly off the main patrol routes, so many players overlook it during casual exploration.
The collectible is positioned inside the container on the left, as you enter the Vex ruins and natural terrain.
Case File 7 – The Cistern collectible location
The seventh Nessus Case File can be found in The Cistern. From the main patrol area, make your way toward the Well of Flame, the large tower structure visible across the Vex landscape.
The Case File is located along the route leading to this landmark, making it a relatively straightforward collectible to grab while exploring the area. Once you reach the tower vicinity, interact with the Case File to add it to your collection and progress the Nessus Case File Collector Triumph.
