Where to find Ancient’s Haunt on Nessus
Ancient’s Haunt is located in the Tangle region of Nessus. Open the Nessus destination map and travel to The Tangle. The Lost Sector entrance is tucked inside a cave system among the Vex structures in the area. Once inside, follow the path deeper into the Lost Sector until you reach the larger combat arenas.

The Triumph can be completed during a normal Lost Sector run, so there are no special modifiers or requirements needed beforehand.
How to get Vex Craniums
The key to this Triumph is obtaining a Vex Cranium. These weapons are dropped by special enemies called Quantum Minotaurs.

You do not need to clear every enemy near the entrance. Instead, push deeper into the Lost Sector and head toward the left-side path where the first Quantum Minotaur appears.

When the Quantum Minotaur is defeated, it drops a Vex Cranium that can be picked up and used as a temporary weapon.
How to complete Have You Lost Your Mind
Step 1
Launch the Ancient’s Haunt Lost Sector on Nessus and move through the opening sections.

Step 2
Ignore unnecessary enemies near the entrance and advance deeper into the Lost Sector until you encounter the first Quantum Minotaur.

Step 3
Defeat the Quantum Minotaur and pick up the dropped Vex Cranium.

Step 4
Use the Vex Cranium’s continuous laser beam to eliminate as many nearby Vex enemies as possible. The beam deals high damage and can quickly clear groups of combatants.

Step 5
After the first Cranium runs out of energy, continue defeating enemies in the Lost Sector. This will eventually trigger another Quantum Minotaur to spawn.

Step 6
Defeat the second Quantum Minotaur and collect the second Vex Cranium.

Step 7
Use the beam weapon on the remaining Vex enemies and the Lost Sector boss, Pakrion. The large number of enemies present makes it easy to reach the required 20 kills.

Once your twentieth Vex Cranium kill is registered, the Have You Lost Your Mind Triumph will complete automatically.
Enemy progression during the run
| Encounter | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Initial Vex enemies | Optional kills while advancing |
| First Quantum Minotaur | Drops first Vex Cranium |
| Additional Vex waves | Provide easy Cranium kills |
| Second Quantum Minotaur | Drops second Vex Cranium |
| Pakrion boss encounter | Final enemies and cleanup kills |
Tips to finish the Triumph faster
The Triumph is much easier if you save your Vex Cranium shots for clusters of enemies rather than firing at single targets. The beam can sweep through multiple Vex at once, rapidly increasing your kill count.
If you do not reach 20 eliminations with the first Cranium, don’t worry. The second Quantum Minotaur provides another Vex Cranium, and together they provide more than enough firepower to complete the objective in a single Lost Sector run.
The Have You Lost Your Mind Triumph is one of the quickest Destiny 2 Triumphs to complete. Simply enter Ancient’s Haunt, defeat the Quantum Minotaurs to obtain Vex Craniums, and use the powerful beam weapon to eliminate 20 combatants. Most players can finish the challenge in a single run before defeating Pakrion, making it a straightforward addition to their Triumph collection.
