Coolpad R116 specs leaked via Geekbench

A mystery device from Coolpad bearing the model name Coolpad R116 has popped up on Geekbench revealing some of the specs of the yet-to-be-announced smartphone as well as its benchmark scores.

As per the listing, the upcoming handset from Coolpad will feature a 1.40GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC which could be either of the Snapdragon 430 or Snapdragon 435 chipsets.

Also, the listing suggests that the smartphone will pack 3GB of RAM and run Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box.

As for the benchmark scores, the smartphone has scored 1440 points in the single-core test while the multi-core score almost touched 2700. Considering the smartphone to be an entry-level device, these scores are fairly decent.

Nothing else apart from the aforesaid details are known about the said device currently. Nevertheless, we will keep you posted if something reliable shows up in the coming days.

  1. looks like Coolpad is preparing for their next budget device!! Coolpad makes good phones with are great with awesome specs for ex. their recently launched Coolpad Cool 1 phone which had all the top of the line specs like SD652, FHD display, dual cameras and 4GB/32GB combo, but they r not very good with the software optimization on their COOL UI and not with software updates either, if Coolpad work those two things out then they can easily beat the other Chinese giants at price to performance ratio for the smartphones!!
