Xiaomi launched its flagship smartphone Mi6 last month with top of the end specifications. One of the main USP of the phone is its dual rear camera set-up of 12MP+12MP resolution. While that’s pretty impressive, the 8MP selfie snapper in the front can also churn out some very cool pics, almost as good as iPhone 7 Plus, and may be even better. What? Well, yes. At least that’s what these camera samples tell us.
Posted on Chinese microblogging site by a user, these camera samples compare the selfie shooter of Mi6 with that of Apple’s iPhone 7 Plus. As can be seen, the Mi6 images appear more bright and colorful. Also, in many of the images, the Mi6 shines when it comes to taking portrait photos, with depth of field.

The Mi6 camera has software enhancements such as Beautify and Natural color correction which allow for great and natural looking photos. There’a also the portrait mode which automatically adds a bokeh effect while Beautify mode makes your selfies look awesome and these camera samples testify that.
Xiaomi Mi6, with a starting price of 2,499 yuan which translates to about $360, can easily halt the hassle to find a great camera smartphone with flagship features in a mid-range price.
