Rot Lab starter location

Your first Brainrot comes from the Rot Lab. Talk to the main NPC in the lab at the start of the game to claim it, then use that starter to begin leveling and capturing in the Grass Zone.

The starter’s exact name is not stable enough to list as a fixed one here. Early gameplay has shown names such as Bonka Ambalabu and Fruy Frula, but the important part for progression is the location: your first Brainrot is obtained in the Rot Lab, not found roaming in Grass Zone.

Grass Zone Brainrot spawns

The Grass Zone is the main early-game collection area in Catch A Brainrot. This is where you should build your first proper team, earn player XP from first captures, and stock up on coins while filling out a large chunk of the index.

Some names that look like they could belong in a later zone are still Grass Zone finds. That includes Ballerina Cappuccina, Avocadini Guffo, and Perchello Lemonchello, so check this area before assuming they are Ice Zone spawns.

The Ice Zone is the second-region checklist and a noticeable jump in difficulty. You will start seeing stronger Brainrots here, including rare and epic creatures, so leveling your team before exploring too far matters more than it did in Grass Zone.

The biggest gameplay mistake is defeating Brainrots when your goal is progression value. The basic loop is to find a Brainrot, weaken it, throw your cube to capture it, then keep or sell it at your base.
