Google Allo is all fun and games, but only when you’re hanging out with the right people.
On Google Allo, anyone who has your phone number saved as contact on his/her phone can send you messages, pictures, videos, heartbreaking emojis and many more things that Google Assistant can help with.
Although this isn’t an issue for the less popular folks, but for the ones who are pretty vibrant socially, they may not like to be bothered by people who they don’t know. And so, Google Allo has an easy option block someone’s phone number.
How to Block Number on Google Allo
- Open Google Allo app.
- Touch & hold the contact you wish to block from Allo’s main screen.
- Select Block.
- You’ll get a pop-up with information on what happens when you block a number on Allo. Read it and then touch BLOCK.
The number is now blocked on Allo. Take a peaceful breath now as the person you blocked will no longer bother you on Allo.
How to Unblock Number on Google Allo
If at some point in future, you wish to unblock a number you previously blocked on Google Allo, here’s what you need to do:
- Open Google Allo app.
- Touch the hamburger menu icon on top-left corner of screen and select Blocked contacts from there.
- Now touch the UNBLOCK option for the contact/number you wish to unblock.
