One of the greatest Android smartphones ever made, and also one of the best-looking smartphones by Samsung, is set to get the axe by Bell soon. That’s right. Bell, the first carrier to launch the Galaxy Nexus in Canada, has discontinued the device effective October 18th, according to a leaked internal document.

Of course, very soon people will be able to buy the next Nexus, the LG Nexus 4, but it is sad that the Galaxy Nexus has reached its end of life status, at least for Bell. Existing stock will continue to be on sale, but you can forget about getting a Galaxy Nexus from Bell once that stock runs out, with the carrier suggesting an HTC One S or LG Optimus LTE instead, two devices that probably won’t be supported as long as the Galaxy Nexus would have been, at least when it comes to software updates.

Hey, now stop eyeing my Galaxy Nexus, go get your own from Bell before stock runs out.
