Mirror Guard is found in a strongbox at the back of Library Hall inside Matsukawa Colony in the Matsukawa Zone, around the fourth layer/southwest side of the colony.
Use this route when you are already inside Matsukawa Colony and want the armor pickup without turning the search into a full colony clear. The important landmark is the rear Library Hall Elite area; the armor comes from the strongbox there, not from wandering the lower colony paths.

Mirror Guard is in the Matsukawa Zone, inside Matsukawa Colony, in the Library Hall area. The pickup is at the back of the hall, near or behind the Elite enemy encounter at the end of that Library section.

The cleanest reference point is the Library Hall Campsite. From there, orient around the colony’s fourth-layer/southwest Library positioning and work toward the rear of the hall rather than trying to line up an exact map pixel.
If you are still approaching from Upper Matsukawa Colony (Front), push toward the Library route with the hookshot structures and pipe bridge until Library Hall Campsite becomes your better anchor.
How to get the Mirror Guard armor in Beast of Reincarnation
Start from the Library campsite and use the upper Library Hall route to reach the rear strongbox.

Use the Library campsite as your anchor point inside Matsukawa Colony.

Work through the upper Library route
Stay on the upper Library Hall path associated with the fourth layer instead of dropping back toward the colony entrance.

Keep your orientation toward the southwest side of the Library section as you cross the upper area.

Search the rear-left hall
Check the back-left/back area of the upper Library section, clear the Elite encounter, then open the strongbox behind/near it.

Why Mirror Guard gets missed
Mirror Guard is easy to leave behind because it is not presented as a normal enemy drop. The Elite marks the right end-point, but the armor is picked up by opening the strongbox in that rear area after the fight.
The other common problem is starting from the wrong camp and roaming the colony without reaching the back of Library Hall. Treat “back-left” as a practical orientation clue for the upper Library section, not as a perfect corner coordinate.
Before leaving the rear Library Hall encounter, open the strongbox behind/near the Elite area.

Mirror Guard is a strong torso pick when you need sturdy defense and heavy Acid Resistance. It is a poor stealth choice, though, because High Enemy Awareness makes detection more punishing.

Players have circulated Left, Down, Right, Up, Down as the directional sequence tied to this strongbox. Use it only if the container asks for directional inputs; the armor location itself remains the rear Library Hall strongbox.
