Beast of Reincarnation Light Mechblade Location, Golem Choice, and Route

Mechblade (Light) is one of the early melee weapons worth picking up because its effect changes which part of Emma’s combo gets boosted. The route starts from Cliffside Village, then turns into a climb up a ruined tower with a hard guard waiting near the reward.

Mechblade (Light) is found, not bought. The pickup is in the Ogouchi Buffer Zone, on top of the ruined riverside tower near River Fork Camp, inside the large tent at the summit.

Light Mechblade appears to be a guide alias for the same weapon, but the item name to use here is Mechblade (Light).

The golem choice that marks Mechblade (Light)

Start from the Cliffside Village interior camp and reach the golem across the valley. When the golem offers two questions for two different rewards, choose the weapon question: Where can I find a weapon?

This route takes you from the Cliffside Village clue to the summit tent where the weapon is sitting.

Start at Cliffside Village interior camp

Begin at the Cliffside Village interior camp, which sits just to the left of where you enter the area.

Cross the gap

Jump across the gap from the camp side toward the figure on the other side of the valley.

Ask for a weapon location

Talk to the golem and choose the weapon question so it points you toward Mechblade (Light).

Head to the ruined riverside tower

Head toward the ruined riverside tower in the Ogouchi Buffer Zone near River Fork Camp.

Stop at River Fork Camp

Activate River Fork Camp before pushing up the tower, since it is right by the place you need to climb.

Climb the ruined tower

Jump toward the building and use the grapple points to move upward while watching for enemies on the way.

Use the camp before the final ascent

Rest at the camp just before going up, because the summit fight can punish an underleveled run.

Face the elite golem

Continue upward until the elite golem blocks access to the weapon near the top.

Approach from behind

Instead of opening from the front, get behind the golem and land a stealth attack to cut its HP roughly in half.

Loot the summit tent

After the golem is down, go inside the tent at the top and pick up Mechblade (Light).

Elite golem tactics for the tower fight

The direct fight is rough early because the elite golem hits hard and punishes sloppy timing. Opening from behind is the cleanest way to soften it, since the stealth attack drops it to about half HP before the real duel starts.

After that, lean on parries as your main answer. Use ranged attacks when you need safer chip damage, and use Koo’s grab attack to create space for healing instead of trying to drink through pressure.

If the golem still feels too tanky, leave and grind a bit before trying again. A cleaner parry rhythm and a few upgrades matter more here than forcing the climb underpowered.

Nearby rewards after Mechblade (Light)

There is another golem at or near the tower that can point you toward a different item. One of its useful clues is for the corrosive bolts manual, found through a separate route.

You can also return to the first golem and ask the other question to chase the alternate reward it marks. The game tracks what you already know, so it is easy to use these golem clues without mixing up old and new leads.
