If you are approaching before the Shopping Mall campsite is unlocked, the same collectible can be tracked through nearby Shopping Mall landmarks. Look around the lower corridor and power-supply side of the complex, especially near the large Shopping Mall area tied to the Shopping Mall Elite Enemy.
Key Those landmarks point to the same general Ancient Civilization Zone Shopping Mall complex, not a separate Gaming Device spawn. Once you have the campsite, the ruined-building route above is the cleaner way to return and grab it.
What the Gaming Device changes in the Cleanse Walker
The Gaming Device is a cosmetic Cleanse Walker collectible. Picking it up adds it as part of the Cleanse Walker decor, but it is not a build item and does not give you a placement advantage.
It does not increase stats, unlock abilities, add combat bonuses, or improve upgrades. Collect it if you want the Cleanse Walker to feel more personalized and lived in.
