After a long wait and some trolling, the July update is finally available for the AT&T Samsung Galaxy S10 handsets. The update is available as build ASGB, the software version bring G970USQS1ASGB for the S10e, G973USQS1ASGB for the standard S10, and G975USQS1ASGB for the S10+ (via Reddit).
When AT&T rolled out a new update (build ASG8) at the end of the last month, we thought they were treating us with the July update. But no, the ASG8 carried the same June security patch level as the update before it, thus users were left bereft of the July patch.
That changes today with the release ASGB update. We don’t have the full changelog available with us but given the AT&T’s S10 already had Night Mode and QR scanner features — Sprint still doesn’t, believe us! — there is nothing that the AT&T S10 users are missing on now.
You may say that a handful of devices are now receiving August update, but well, none of the Galaxy S handsets have received the August patch yet.
The next big update for the AT&T Galaxy S10 should be Android Q. While Samsung’s Android Q update is ages away right now, Google will be releasing the stable Android Q update soon. Samsung will top up its Android Q update with One UI 2.0, the successor to One UI that was launched with Android Pie.

If you are already on 2nd June update build ASG8, then you can simply download this incremental OTA file here for ASGB to jump from ASG8 build right away. To install, use the ADB sideload installation method (here’s how).
