The Samsung Galaxy S9 duo and Note 9 on AT&T have started receiving an update. The leading telecom company in the United States hasn’t announced any notable feature enhancements. So, it seems like a routine security update, which bumps up the devices’ security patch up to October 2019.
October 2019 security update carries software version N960USQS2CSI3 for the Galaxy Note 9. The Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus, on the other hand, get G960USQS7CSI5 and G965USQS7CSI5, respectively.
AT&T has been quite steady when it comes to updating Samsung’s smartphones. And this latest release only goes on to prove its dedication towards bringing the latest updates to users.
However, despite its best efforts, the telecom giant wasn’t named in Samsung’s One UI 2 beta program, which saw Sprint and T-Mobile book their places alongside unlocked Galaxy S10s.
Samsung’s 2018 flagships, Galaxy Note 9 and S9 duo are also scheduled to get updated to One UI 2, but it’s set to be a long, excruciating wait.
