Telecommunications giant, AT&T, has started rolling out an update for the LG V35 ThinQ, bringing it up to the latest security patch level, July 2019.
The AT&T LG V35 ThinQ received its inauguratory Android Pie update on June 18th, which even though late, was a welcome move nonetheless, so the July update is the device’s second Pie update.
Usually, the update right after any major Android OS rollout is aimed at fixing known bugs and improving overall system stability. So, we hope, apart from the security patch, this update also fixes any issues associated with the original Pie update. But for what it’s worth, AT&T hasn’t mentioned any bug-fixing activity in the changelog, which is as dull as it can be.
So, the July update for AT&T LG V35, identified as model LM-V350, is sized about175MB and is already available as an OTA.
If you are using an LG V35 at AT&T, check for an update now under Settings > System > About phone. If your device is already eligible for the update, the system will ask you to begin downloading and installing the update.
Since rolling out Pie update for LG V35, LG has released a beta version of the Android 9 software for its V30 and G6 handsets, besides rolling out a stable Pie OTA for T-Mobile LG G7 users.
