Asus releases updates for Zenfone 3, Zenfone 3 Ultra, and Zenfone Live

Asus has released new software updates for three of their smartphones. The Asus Zenfone 3, Zenfone 3 Ultra, and the Zenfone Live are getting new updates right now.

If you own any of these devices, do check for new software updates, as they will be delivered over-the-air. First up, the Zenfone 3 gets software version 14.2020.1711.80, which includes improvements to Bluetooth and SIM detection. It also includes a fix for the KRACK Wi-Fi vulnerability.

The Zenfone 3 Ultra gets software version 14.1010.1711.62 and it only includes a newer Android security patch. The Zenfone Live(ZB501KL) gets the software version 13.1407.1711.47 and comes with fixes for the BlueBorne and KRACK Wi-Fi issues. The update also in improves the Camera app and System stability.

All three devices are getting the update over-the-air, so it may not appear on your device right away. You can manually check for the update by heading to Setting – About – System Update.
