Sony has introduced Apple Pay as a new payment method on the PlayStation 5. When you buy games or other content from the PlayStation Store on your PS5, you will now see Apple Pay as an option at checkout.
This update allows you to use Apple Pay directly from your iPhone, Apple Watch, or other Apple devices linked to your Apple account. The process is simple. When you reach the payment screen, select Apple Pay and follow the prompts on your device to complete the purchase.
Apple Pay is known for its security and convenience. It uses Face ID, Touch ID, or a passcode to confirm payments. This means you do not need to enter your card details each time you buy something on your PS5.
The feature is currently available in regions where Apple Pay is supported. Sony may expand this option to more countries in the future. If you do not see Apple Pay as a payment method, check if your region supports it and if your Apple device is set up for Apple Pay.
This change gives you more flexibility in how you pay for games, add-ons, and other digital content on your PlayStation 5. It also brings the PS5 in line with other platforms that already support Apple Pay for digital purchases.
