Aniimo Special Forms Weather Conditions, Spawn Beacons, and Unlock Steps

Missing a special Aniimo? Most have a habitat clue or catching instruction, and exploring during an active event can reveal additional forms. You can also check unlock requirements in the evolution menu, so filling that collection entry might mean a quest, interaction, or material hunt instead of another wild encounter.

Rare Aniimo habitats and acquisition routes

Creature and encounter destinations

A missing Aniimo can involve a wild habitat, a triggered encounter, an evolution, or a reward track. Some event creatures also sit outside the normal Anilog collection.

Read habitat clues and track missing Aniimo

Completely black entries represent Aniimo you haven’t encountered. An entry becomes dimmed when you’ve seen the creature but haven’t caught it; having a friend who has caught that Aniimo can reveal an in-game location clue. Open the map or Anilog to look up habitats, including the entries for Ignitis and Wisptee.

Forms can vary with the region or weather. Weather forms occupy their own collection sub-entry under the species number, while Sparkling forms are rare variants of individual forms. Collection progress therefore extends beyond catching a species once.

Sherro’s weather form and evolution encounter

Sherro Thunderstorm Form has an Echoback Landing habitat entry, with only one active spawn at a time. Its weather encounter and its evolution quest are separate acquisitions.

Defeat Elder Sherro

Finish the Elder Sherro encounter so you can continue its follow-up subquest.

Follow the troublesome trio

Continue the subquest involving the three troublesome Cuda.

Advance time if Sherro sleeps

If Sherro remains inside its shell at the evolution encounter, skip time within the game.

Defeat Omega Sherro

Win the Omega Sherro encounter to meet Sherro’s evolution requirement.

A real-world day rollover may also be needed before advancing time works.

Complete Tubster’s local collection route

Locate the beach habitat

Open Tubster’s Echoback Landing entry to find the Tubster Beach Form habitat.

Return after the local collection

Once the area’s collection requirement is met, revisit the corresponding Tubster habitat for its spawn.

Locate the later regional encounters

Collect every Incredible Egg in Russet Highlands for its Tubster spawn.

Distinguish Tubster’s beach and regional encounters

Tubster Beach Form is the coastal encounter. Tubster also has an alpha fight, and the later highland searches include additional regional appearances. Follow the habitat associated with the form you’re collecting.

Trigger Flamereon through local Sparkie captures

Flamereon appears through repeated captures in its regional habitat. Mistwood has entries for both it and Sparkie, making that area a place to begin the catch sequence.

Find the local Sparkie habitat

Use the regional habitat entry to reach the Sparkie associated with your target Flamereon.

Capture Sparkie repeatedly

Use the Anipod to keep catching Sparkie in that area.

Watch for Flamereon

Continue the local captures until Flamereon appears.

The map contains several regional Flamereon forms. The green variant is inside the Wisptis forest, while the purple variant is out in the open field. Those colors distinguish the local sightings without changing the capture procedure.

Bring out Ignitis by provoking Wisptee

Regional Ignitis encounters occur around forest habitats, including Mistwood and Beryline Vale. Blitzwood also has an Ignitis entry, while Beryline Vale includes an alpha among its local sightings.

Find a local Wisptee group

Search the forest habitat associated with the Ignitis variant you’re pursuing.

Provoke or defeat Wisptee

Keep engaging the local groups until the regional Ignitis appears to defend them.

Locate Cornet’s isolated and regional habitats

Within Argent Strait, Cornet’s habitat is restricted to the eastern portion. The restriction ends at the regional boundary: Forest of Falling Stars has a single obscure Cornet spawn, and Zephyrus Landbridge has several locations to search.

Find Shrubclaw and Budclaw habitats

Shrubclaw has limited sites in the Argent area. On Tide Blossom Coast, its coastal appearances occur during the day; in Beryline Vale, look for the single forest habitat. These are separate searches, so choose the regional entry for the form you want.

Budclaw in Argent Strait and Driftwise Meadow

Budclaw has habitat entries in Argent Strait and Driftwise Meadow. Follow those map locations to catch one; its digging role belongs to the Minespine cave route.

Catch Flameruff before pursuing its related evolution

Flameruff has limited Argent-area habitats, with scattered catch locations on Zephyrus Landbridge and in Russet Highlands. Catching one fills that collection target, while gathering material for Inferlupa involves a separate battle task.

Prismana field spawn beacons

Once the associated Prismana flow activates, a large luminous beacon marks the field spawn. That’s your visual destination. These encounters are separate from the specific Prismana eggs awarded through battle-pass rewards and Homeland progression.

Find Stellaris on the beach or through branch nurturing

The rainstorm form of Stellaris appears on the Forest of Falling Stars beach during rain or a thunderstorm. Regular Stellaris is the area’s alpha, giving you a separate encounter from the weather form.

Nurturing a branch can also yield Stellaris, with nearby prismatic energy affecting the available outcome. Nimbi has a local habitat entry to consult as well. While visiting the coast for Solaris, you can also collect beach-form Tromber.

Search Irisal’s isolated regional spawns

Forest of Falling Stars has one Irisal spawn, and Driftweise Meadow also has a single location. In Sea of Flowers, Irisal stands on the ground in the southern area at (-0135, 0659).

The Russet Highlands site lies immediately north of a fast-travel point. Beryline Vale has another habitat, where changing to daytime may be needed to bring Irisal out.

Tromber’s coastal and landbridge encounters

The beach form occupies the Forest of Falling Stars coast. For ordinary Tromber encounters, look around Zephyrus Landbridge.

Find Scorchhowl’s alpha and lightning-marked form

Beast Fang Ridge contains the Scorchhowl alpha and a separate Thunderstorm Scorchhowl encounter. Repeated lightning strikes beside the weather form make its position recognizable in the field.

A local Flamereon sighting also belongs to this region; use its Sparkie capture trigger when pursuing it. Scorchhowl’s field encounters are separate from the Inferlupa evolution requirements.

Separate Glyncera’s alpha, night encounter, and catch chain

Beast Fang Ridge alpha

The Glyncera alpha is one of Beast Fang Ridge’s mapped encounters. Select that habitat when you’re looking for the alpha itself.

Nighttime encounter in Beast Fang Ridge

A separate nighttime Glyncera lacks map tracking.

This Glyncera may resist capture during the first fight and become catchable after respawning. If your initial encounter doesn’t allow a catch, revisit it after the respawn.

Rosetower Woods catch chain

The woods also contain a Glyncera encounter tied to eight consecutive catches. That catch-chain condition belongs to the woods encounter, separate from the ridge alpha and the untracked nighttime fight.

Graceswing beneath the dead leaves

Graceswing Mountainwoods Form is hidden in Beast Fang Ridge’s dead-leaf piles. The interaction becomes accessible through story progression.

Break the dead-leaf piles

Destroy the piles in the opened area to bring out Graceswing Mountainwoods Form.

Choose Glacy’s iceberg or Sea of Flowers encounter

Driftweise Meadow iceberg spawn

Glacy occupies a single spot on an iceberg in Driftweise Meadow. This encounter has no special acquisition requirement, so you can pursue the habitat directly.

Sea of Flowers capture trigger

For Sea of Flowers Glacy, catch 15 Sea of Flowers Skippy consecutively. Glacy appears beside the small lake near (-0137, 0751), with one present at a time. Local Skippy can be found by the pond at (-0059, 0813).

Pranky also features in the local catching sequence and has a pond-side habitat at (-0102, 0738). A double catch may be involved in that sequence. For the sleeping Pranky setup, approach from a distance at night and catch it while it remains asleep; that specific setup gives a guaranteed catch.

Evolution offers another acquisition method. Skippy can evolve into Pranky. Skippy can evolve into the ice-based Glacy.

Search Driftweise Meadow’s fast-travel and edge habitats

Turbo has a habitat near the area’s fast-travel point. Use its map entry to pick out the nearby site.

Fenmane occupies a location near the edge of Driftweise Meadow. Follow its own habitat marker; it is a separate destination from Turbo’s fast-travel-side encounter.

Mistwood’s Emberpup and Leafy encounters

Emberpup can be caught in Mistwood’s local habitat. Select its regional entry when searching the area.

Leafy is the Mistwood alpha. For the region’s triggered encounters, follow the separate Ignitis procedure or Flamereon capture sequence.

Search Blitzwood’s eastern and western habitats

Bolty has habitat entries on both the eastern and western sides of Blitzwood, so a search on one side doesn’t cover its full local distribution.

Squashel has a limited set of local sites. Use those individual habitat entries, and follow the shared Wisptee encounter procedure for Blitzwood’s Ignitis.

Locate Thornblade around the tower and woods

Rainstorm Thornblade is found beside the Thornblade tower. The tower is the landmark for this encounter.

Ordinary Thornblade has numerous locations throughout Rosetower Woods. In Sea of Flowers, another ordinary habitat lies in the central grassland at (-0294, 0748).

A Prismana Thornblade location sits farther south at (-0279, 0655) and becomes available when Sea of Flowers enters its Prismatic flow state.

Search Sea of Flowers’ island and mountain habitats

Fragrancier above the island

Fragrancier flies around the island, with a habitat above the house in the pond at (-0116, 0741).

Flutternym across the flower fields

Flutternym is spread across different local areas, so move between its habitats when searching. Look in the western purple grass at (-0439, 0714) and the southern pink grass at (-0144, 0716); a nighttime form appears near the central lamppost at (-0332, 0755).

Hexxin on the mountain

Hexxin has mountain habitats to search. Look near the trees in eastern Sea of Flowers at (-0062, 0873). Its Beryline Vale habitats offer another regional search.

Nearby collection targets include Iris in the southern pink grass at (-0144, 0720), Dewy flying above the central house at (-0365, 0730), and Budsquire in the grassland at (-0235, 0759). Mountain Hummin occupies grassland at (-0243, 0803).

The local Sparkie habitat is in the eastern grassland at (-0073, 0757). For the area’s other special targets, use the individual Glacy and Irisal encounters.

Find Tide Blossom Coast’s nighttime roaming pair

Bulbly appears to be the coastal creature also transcribed as “Broly.” Its matching habitat search covers widespread nighttime appearances across Tide Blossom Coast.

Veilfloat is also widespread along the coast at night. Follow its local habitat entries during that search, while keeping the coast’s Shrubclaw visit separate.

Pomegg’s coastal story route

Advance Irelia’s story

Continue the Irelia storyline to open the coastal Pomegg encounter.

Visit the coastal habitat

Return to Pomegg’s Tide Blossom Coast habitat after that story progression.

Pomawk’s woods dance quest

Pomawk is tied to a separate special quest in Rosetower Woods. The coastal Pomegg story progression and this dance encounter are distinct tasks.

Find the dancing Pomegg

Locate the group of three Pomegg dancing in the woods.

Transform into Pomegg

Take the same form as the dancers.

Join the party

Dance with the group to unlock Pomawk’s spawn.

Reach Luminnel’s shooting-star and cave encounters

Shooting-star alpha

Visit the habitat at night

Go to Luminnel’s nighttime encounter area on Tide Blossom Coast.

Wait for the star to land

Let the shooting star reach the ground to access the Luminnel alpha fight.

Rainstorm cave form

Enter the cave during wet weather

Visit the coastal cave during rain or a thunderstorm to find Rainstorm Luminnel.

Search Rosetower Woods’ restricted habitats

Grizbow’s alpha and wild alternative

Grizbow has an alpha encounter, but you can also catch it elsewhere in the woods. A regular wild encounter is an alternative when you’re filling the species entry.

Boneski’s local site

Boneski is restricted to the specific woods site highlighted during the nighttime search. Focus on its habitat marker instead of extending the search throughout the forest.

Finer’s local site

Finer is also associated with that restricted search area. The nighttime visit identifies where to look without establishing a night-only spawn condition.

Melloblum after the story encounter

Melloblum appears through the story. Return to its encounter location afterward to catch it; the woods’ Pomawk dance and Glyncera catch chain use their own procedures.

Reach Magmarex and Shattering Stone

Magmarex has several habitats, including underground locations around Shattering Stone. The regional map entries for Zephyrus Landbridge and Russet Highlands help locate these searches before you head below ground.

Jump into the geyser

Use the geyser entrance on the Magmarex route to reach the underground cave.

Search the underground habitat

Follow Magmarex’s cave habitat once you’re below ground.

Shattering Stone’s separate encounters

The shrine has an alpha encounter and a separate ordinary spawn, giving you an alternative to the alpha fight for the creature found there. Keep those shrine encounters distinct from Magmarex’s broader habitat search.

The Prismana encounter occupies the top of Shattering Stone. Search above the shrine for that target.

Find Baelite and Helgon around highland landmarks

Baelite’s creature-shaped mountain

Baelite inhabits the Russet Highlands mountain shaped like the creature itself. The mountain’s outline is the landmark to match with its habitat entry.

Helgon and its golden encounter

Helgon has several highland sites, and Anipod trace helps with the local search. Golden Helgon is positioned above Stone Pillar Forest and the Jawling gathering area, giving you a more specific landmark for that encounter.

Gold-helmet Jawling inside the ruins

Gold-helmet Jawling occupies hidden ruins in the highlands. The entrance is concealed by bushes.

Break the concealing bushes

Destroy the bushes blocking access to the ruins.

Enter the ruins

Search inside for the gold-helmet Jawling encounter.

Check the golden-helmet and snowy highland encounters

Gold-helmet Helmwhelp’s chest encounter

Gold-helmet Helmwhelp may use a small chest-defense challenge: attempting to take its chest provokes the defender. Treat the chest as the encounter’s point of interest when you reach the habitat.

Helmut and the golden-helmet secret

Helmut is associated with Secret of the Golden Helmet. A refreshed spawn follows that secret, so the encounter offers a reason to return after completing it.

Snowball-hidden encounter near the shrine

A separate snowy encounter is concealed inside a snowball near the shrine. Search the shrine surroundings for the snowball itself; this is a different point of interest from the chest and ruins.

Snowy helmet form across the highlands

The snowy helmet form appears throughout the area during its active weather window. Its distribution gives you several places to search once that condition is met.

Gather Flameruff Spirits for Inferlupa

Inferlupa Basic Form is tied to the main story’s Journey: Warrior. Its evolution requirements include an Aniimo level of 20, completion of that journey, and the required spirit material.

Complete Journey: Warrior

Finish the Warrior journey required by Inferlupa’s evolution.

Return to the fight area by day

Visit the area used for the Inferlupa fight while it is daytime.

Defeat the local Flameruff

Battle Flameruff in that area for a chance to receive Unbroken Flameruff Spirit.

Finish the evolution requirements

Use the evolution menu once the required level, journey, and material conditions are met.

Capturing Flameruff may not award the spirits, so use defeated Flameruff as the material source. Their ordinary catch habitats serve a different collection goal.

Open Nimbi’s Dreeple branch and story acquisitions

Dreeple is an alternate evolution of Nimbi. Its talent requirement belongs to your character’s Passive Talents tree, so this unlock involves character progression as well as the creature’s evolution menu.

Bulus as an alpha catch

Bulus can be caught as an alpha, providing a direct acquisition target.

Additional main-story acquisitions

Two further creature acquisitions are tied to main-story quests. Keep progressing those quests alongside habitat searches to reach their encounters.

Track Waleetle and Hexxin in Beryline Vale

Waleetle can be located with the Anipod tracking beam. Use trace to follow the target within Beryline Vale, where several local sightings are available.

Hexxin has easily overlooked habitat entries in the same region. Review those individual locations during your search, with separate stops for forest Shrubclaw, Irisal, Sparkie and Flamereon, and Ignitis.

Complete Tuckin’s Sanctum evolution sequence

Omega Tuckin appears relatively early in the story. Defeating it begins the special evolution sequence, which continues at the Sanctum.

Defeat Omega Tuckin

Win the Omega encounter required for Tuckin’s evolution.

Go to the Sanctum entrance

Travel to the entrance after the encounter.

Dig at the entrance

Perform the digging interaction there to continue the evolution sequence.

Open Geoclaw and Minespine through Earthquake Revelation

Earthquake Revelation opens access to the Geoclaw and Minespine encounters. The two destinations are separate: one is a newly opened riverside cave, while the other is reached through the orange-crystal cave route from the Sanctum.

After Earthquake Revelation unlocks, head to the cave beside the river.

Use the opened route to access the special Geoclaw alpha encounter.

Start the Minespine approach from the Sanctum.

Head to the crystal cave associated with Minespine.

Dig beneath the crystal

Use Budclaw to open the way underneath the obstruction.

Reach the Minespine encounter

Continue through the access route to pursue Minespine, including its alpha encounter.

Pebbling and Geodeback

Pebbling can be obtained before Earthquake Revelation opens these areas. It evolves into Geodeback, while Minespine remains a further requirement for the other related evolutions.

Trigger Popota’s beach-following split evolution

Popota has a split evolution involving a follower on the beach. The follower’s gender is part of the condition.

Walk along the beach

Continue along the beach until an opposite-gender Cissuda starts following you.

Evolve Helmwhelp after defeating Omega Infergon

Infernagon is the Helmwhelp evolution associated with defeating Omega Infergon. The arena becomes a return destination after the relevant main-story quest.

Complete the main-story quest

Finish the story quest associated with the arena before returning.

Return to the arena

Revisit the arena to face Omega Infergon.

Defeat Omega Infergon

Win the encounter to satisfy its evolution condition.

Capture a qualifying Helmwhelp

A Sparkling Cube guarantees the required creature quality when used for the capture.

Choose the Infernagon evolution

Evolve the qualifying Helmwhelp through this branch once the requirements are met.

The Sparkling Cube guarantee here concerns creature quality, not a shiny result. Helgon is a separately available Helmwhelp evolution option.

Exchange Pathfinder Challenge fragments for Besauce

Besauce is obtained through an Outpost shop exchange. The acquisition sequence identifies it as Aniimo Forms. 82, and the challenge reward item is named Fragment – Besauce.

Look for challenges across the world, including Breezy Plains.

Select the challenge to see its Besauce fragment reward details.

Complete the challenges

Earn the fragments used by the shop exchange.

Visit an Outpost shop

Use the Besauce fragment exchange at any Outpost to obtain the creature.

Collect battle-pass, event, and Homeland rewards

Fomentis and Prismana Fomentis

You get Fmentus from the free battle pass, while the advanced battle pass awards an evolution stone for Fmentus. The advanced edition awards a Prismana Fmentus egg. Those rewards are separate. Prismana Fomentis is also among the exclusive eggs you can claim.

Legendary Journey’s creature reward

Unlock legendary journey forus to follow its reward route and claim its legendary. Unlocking comes first.

Sparkelf’s event egg

Your spark elf egg comes from accumulating enough spark elf points. Keep an eye on the event rewards: the Incredible Sparkelf Egg is an event reward item.

Prismana Fintuff through Homeland

Leveling Homeland lets you claim exclusive eggs, including Prismana Fintuff through Homeland RV progression and its Prismana Fintuff Egg reward. Reach Level 10 in Homeland to earn the prisana fentuft egg.
