Following the disastrous events that followed after the launch of the Galaxy Note 7, Samsung went ahead and released the Galaxy Note FE, a revised version of the flagship Note 7 tasked with patching up the bad reputation of the company.
Having been launched with a newer OS as opposed to the version powering the original Note 7, the Galaxy Note FE was guaranteed an update to the latest Android 9 Pie. And indeed, Samsung is rolling out the update to the device as we speak.
Captured by Samsung-centric publication Sam Mobile, the Note FE update is rolling out as version N935FXXU4CSC4 and includes Samsung One UI and March 2019 security patches.
So far, reports about the Pie update are coming from Saudi Arabia, but we expect more regions that got the device to join the party pretty soon.
Do you use the Galaxy Note FE as your daily driver?
