Are you a Nokia 6.1 Plus user? Then you’ll probably want to know that Android 9 Pie beta has started rolling out for your device as we speak. The news was shared by Nokia’s chief product officer, Juho Sarvikas on Twitter.

Not long after Google begun disseminating the new Pie update, HDM Global pledged that all Nokia devices will be eligible to get the new upgrade, albeit at different times.

Well, the Nokia 7 Plus was first in line, and now the Pie update in beta for the Nokia 6.1 Plus is now available. The Nokia 6 and Nokia 8 and 8 Sirocco should also get the bump up this month as well.

Given that this is a beta, users are advised to backup all their data before downloading the new build in order to avoid any data loss.

The update weighs 1258.0 MB, so please make sure you are connected to a stable Wi-Fi before downloading the update on your handset. Note that you need to be a member of the Nokia beta labs to be able to do so.
