HMD Global promised that Android 9 Pie update for the Nokia 7 Plus will be ready in September. With September almost over, the company recently apologized for the delayed rollout and mentioned that it was doing final tests with an intention of rolling out the update very soon.
Well, the Nokia 7 Plus is finally receiving the stable Android 9 Pie update, the company has just confirmed. As usual, the one to make this announcement is Juho Sarvikas through his Twitter account and while he doesn’t say it, we expect the update to roll out in stages, meaning some people will get the prompt to update way ahead of others.

This is just how OTA updates work, where some units get the nod ahead of others, but you can always try your luck through the device’s Settings menu and check for updates manually, but we cannot guarantee this will get you a direct ticket to Android Pie.
